Question by boo!: For dogs like the Yorkshire and Silky Terriers, can you keep the hair short their entire life?
I really like both of them, not sure which one to get, but my question is: can you have the dog's hair short, like when its a puppy, like have it look exactly the same, just bigger and older the entire life? I mean obviously you can cut the hair and stuff, but will it still have that soft feel to it? Cause I saw some pictures of the adult ones and they all have long hair, I hate that (no offense to people who like it). Thanks

Yes you can have them groomed regularly and keep the hair short :-) They actually have a cut called the puppy cut which is just a short shaggy length. Yes the feel very soft and they look cute too :-)

    yes i my friend does.
    many people find the the yorkie with shorter hair is easier to maintain.
    just take her to the groomer and she”ll cut the fur till the desired length.

    Their hair will keep on growing, but you can cut it in a puppy cut to keep it short. Yes it will still have the short feel. Obviously when a puppy grows older it will change a bit in looks, like a human,. But yes, the hair will keep on growing, but you can keep it short with a cut.
