Question by Harmony: Is my dog dying?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
There are so many things wrong with my dog, and we can't afford to take her to the vet. She is an English Corgi. She's an outside dog and I bathe her regularly(once or twice a month sometimes even three times).

Well it started off with one bald spot on her back, sort of near her tail, and it was red, then about a week or two later, it started looking like yellow dandruff on, and around the bald spot. I'm pretty sure it was a hot spot.

THEN, after that, another bald spot came, exactly like the other one. So i decided to put neo- sporran on both of the bald spots. Soon, a little bit of flies started flying around her. Later, (maybe about three or four days), a lot of flies started coming and flying near her tail, and her back.

Not only that it gets EVEN worse. She has a scab on the tips of both of her ears, where the fur is, and i have no idea how they got there. And lately her eyes have been a little bit blood shot. I've had her for about three months and i take her for a walk every day.

Currently, the spots on her back aren't red anymore, but still bald though. However the thing i am worried most about are the flies around her. There are so many. Is there anything i could do to help her get better, because remember, we can't take her to the vet, and i don't know what we're doing wrong. What do i do?!?!? please help.
I know that we really shouldn't have one. My dad said the same exact thing when my mom bought it. Thanks for the advice. I just kind of took over for the dog since no one was taking care of it. And I'm only 14, so i cant take it to the vet :(

Listen, you REALLY have to get her to the vet. Keeping her outside isn't a good idea because of bacteria and bugs and stuff. I think the bald spots are either skin irritation, hair loss, or too many fleas. Does she take baths? Buy her shampoo with oatmeal and it should feel good on her skin. Bathing can also get rid of the annoying flies. Flies don't like to be near WET dogs so try to keep her wet. I feel so bad for both of you but the best thing you can do for her is to take her to the vet. Good luck and hope she gets better!
